Position Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• The primary function is providing support and solutions for a enterprise level data warehouse
• Interact with end users & understand the Requirements for different applications.
• Provide Business Objects reporting solution.
• Design & develop New Universes & Reports.
• Prepare High Level Design Documents & Low Level Design documents.
• Present the design solution to end users & answer/clarify any doubts.
• Gather system reporting requirements to develop user specifications
• Perform Unit testing & resolve defect.

Required Skills, Education & Experience:

• BO Architect should know how to perform the following functions:
• Excellent experience in Business Objects 6.5 & XI project lifecycle
• Excellent understanding of Universe, reports design, development & optimization
• Very good communication & experience in requirements gathering.
• Should be able to interact with the user community to understand, validate their requirements and convert business requirements into technical specifications.
• Good at data warehousing life cycle and concepts.
• Effective Oracle & Teradata SQL query writing.
• Estimate work effort and deliver to schedule.
• Ability to deliver under pressure & manage customer expectations
• Ability to resolve complex issues arising in projects execution & mentor other developers
• 7-10 yrs of required experience
