Position Description:
- Looking for a seasoned implementer with strong leadership experience in managing large global projects.
- The Siebel Project Manager will be responsible for the management of all Functional and Technical activities related to project delivery.
- This role will be responsible for delivery of enhancement releases as well as corrective actions into the Siebel environments.
Specific duties are listed below:
- This individual will be the SINGLE point of contact for the Siebel implementation.
- This individual will be managing Analysts, Configurators, Development team (including QA, S&R, Analytics, Answers, Actuate, mobile Client, eMDR and Synergy integrations), System Testers and UAT
- Responsible for overall Project Plan and timelines and have a good grasp of day to day activities with an ability to troubleshoot and problem solve when issues arise.
- Responsible for communicating status and issues in a timely manner.
- Interacts closely with Integrations lead, Platform manager, ITS infrastructure, Business users in order to manage timelines and workloads.
- Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration from definition phase through implementation.
- Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.
- Suggests alternative technical solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently, and/or with greater reusability, and / or longer life.
- Manages the Development phase of the project – including resources and timelines;
- Keeps project manager and platform manager well informed of status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and the PMO
- Serves as key participant in team and client meetings to represent the Development team; will require in depth knowledge of the development plan to be able to address questions effectively
- Define Configuration Standards and ensure adherence of the Development Team
- Responsible for technical code and unit testing reviews to verify that configuration standards are met
- Identifies reusable code required for our code library and ensures the high quality creation of the code;
- Adherence to best-practices to ensure higher value for the platform
- Manages the maintenance of non-Production environments during the course of the project.
- Will act as Project Liaison in coordinating infrastructure issues encountered on any of the non-Production environments with external teams.
- Responsible for delivery and deployment of code into the Production environment and proper transition from development to support mode
- Manage Corrective Action releases during post-deployment and stabilization phase
Required Skills:
- Project Management Experience
- Siebel Development/Delivery Lead Experience for 10 years with 5 as PM (using Version 7.7 or above)
- Strong Siebel Technical Skills in the following areas: Siebel Tools, Siebel eScripting, Siebel EAI/Workflow, Siebel Administration, Actuate, Analytics, Mobile Client QA & S&R modules
- Experience in Siebel EIM preferred
- Siebel Certification preferred
- Good communication and Leadership skills are the key.
