Description

• Responsible for bridging Application to Infrastructure by defining the technical platform needed to support:
• Lombardi
• EMC Product Suite
• Java
• COGNOS Powerhouse
• Synergy Dibol

Required Skills          

• Responsible for working with Infrastructure Manager to ensure that the approved infrastructure design is implemented while building / configuring the various environments

• Responsible for working with Performance Testing Lead to ensure NFR required are understood and Testing team has the Test Case coverage to test for required NFRs
• Responsible for producing best-practice architecture deliverables to ensure delivered solution aligns with business objectives
• Responsible for working with the Infrastructure Manager, Chief Architect to ensure industry best practices and architectural principles in Application & Infrastructure design
• Define & Validate frameworks to be used for the solution
• Conduct periodic reviews on the system being developed

Description:

• The new systems that we are developing will improve how we match ads to our users and will improve the performance, scalability and flexibility of our advertisement platforms.
• As a senior member of the Advertising Applications team, you will participate in the development of one of the world’s largest and most complex online advertising systems.
• We’re always looking for big thinkers. We need people who have the ability to take develop new ideas and successfully launch them into production.
• Ideal candidates should have strong enterprise java experience with good knowledge of Oracle.

Responsibilities include:

• Build highly scalable, high performance and stable advertising experience.
• Understand the business requirements, translate them into design and implementation approaches, and rapidly drive convergence towards the best solution.
• Engineer the full product life-cycle, from concepts, design, through maintenance, managing prioritization and trade-offs across functional domains
• Hands-on coding: Develop and maintain high quality code base, consistently delivering challenging, stable, and maintainable projects on schedule.
• Adopt and improve best practices to foster rapid ways of software development.

• Proven track record of software design, object-oriented programming, design patterns, software architecture, debugging skills.
