“Javascript Developer (Front End)”

Position Description:
- The Client is looking for a Front end Java developer who is proficient and has hands on experience with all the below mentioned technologies.
- Should also be able to write design patterns on JS
- Candidates must be able to join ASAP.
- Candidates who have good exposure towards UI would be a greater advantage
- defining classes
- inheritance
- polymorphism etc.
Skills Required:
- Java Javascript,
- OO Javascript,
- Using Ajax to modify DOM on the fly.
- Work with Javascript frameworks Dojo or JQuery or ExtJs or YUI
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal/Writing)
- Good Presentation skills
- Good team player, also lead a team when required
- Good at handling crisis
- Technology agnostic
- Takes initiative (Self starter)
- Leadership qualities like motivating people, decision making etc.
- Good at identifying problem areas and providing solutions
- Can cope up with stressful situations
Technology:
- Good understanding of fundamental concepts of programming
- Good understanding of OOPS & SOA
- Good at Database (Design/SQL)
- Good at understanding and implementing Open Source projects.
- Java: Threading, Collections, optimization
- XML: DOM, SAX, Xpath
- Web services: JAX-RPC, JAX-WS, Axis, RESTful Webservices.
- They should know at least 2 of the following JS frameworks:
- JQuery
- ExtJS
- GWT
- DoJo
