Job Description:
  • Infrastructure Technical support consultants

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Provides 24/7 technical support to a number of areas such as Data Center Operations, Network Services, Availability Management, Production Management or Application Development, Vendors, etc
  • Provides technical assistance for a number of platforms, during issues and/or outages. Areas to include but are not limited to Mainframe and Distributed business applications, operating systems, hardware components and the network infrastructure.
  • Assists in identifying and implementing process and processing improvements for a number of operational, development and support teams.
  • Performs basic programming/scripting in the distributed environments
  • Composes and reviews documentation supporting operational processes and service restoration.
  • Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot applications in the WebSphere Application Server and Portal environments 
  • Incident and problem management

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Desired:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technology field strongly desired.
  • 3-5 years experience working with WebSphere Application Server and Portal environments
